Probate is a special area of the law. People come to probate court grieving the loss of a loved one, seeking financial or medical care for a vulnerable person, or looking to establish safeguards for their assets. Having a judge on the bench who cares deeply about people is so important for probate court. When you come into my courtroom, I will earn your trust by seeing you, hearing you, and treating you with respect and fairness. Transparency is key. I have committed over ten years of my life to learning about probate law and teaching probate law to others. I will take the time to make expectations clear and to fully inform you of the process of your case to help ease any anxiety or fear you may have.

I will always do my best to explain how my decision is both lawful and in the best interest of the individual because you deserve to understand the thinking behind my decisions. As a probate attorney, I conduct myself with consideration, fairness, and compassion. I will continue to hold myself to these standards as a probate judge.
